Paul Emmons, 60, Remembered After Saturday Motorcycle Crash On S. School House Road In Knox County, Indiana

Paul Emmons, a 60-year-old Knox County resident, died after a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Saturday afternoon along S. School House Road in Knox County, Indiana.

Authorities said Emmons was riding northbound at about 1:50 p.m. when the motorcycle reached a sharp curve and left Emmons seriously hurt near the roadway.

Deputies from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and emergency responders arrived after calls reported the accident, and paramedics took Emmons to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.

Medical staff worked to save Emmons, but officials said Emmons was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Authorities noted that Emmons was not wearing a helmet at the time, and investigators continue to review road conditions and the motorcycle’s mechanical state.

The sudden loss has deeply affected family, friends, neighbors, and others across Knox County who knew Emmons and now mourn a life lost during a routine weekend ride.
