Austin J. Karr Grimes Remembered After Fatal Gorham Township, Ohio, Crash At State Route 66 And County Road N
Austin J. Karr Grimes, a 29-year-old young parent, died after a late afternoon crash around 4:13 p.m. at State Route 66 and County Road N in Gorham Township, Ohio.
Karr Grimes drove south in a 1993 GMC Suburban with two passengers when a 2024 Ram 3500 pickup traveling west entered the intersection after missing a stop sign.
The impact sent the Suburban off the west side of the roadway before it turned onto its side, and first responders pronounced Karr Grimes dead at the scene.
Emilee Campbell, 26, and Maggie Karr Grimes, 3, received care at Saint Vincent’s Hospital for minor injuries, while the pickup driver and three passengers did not report harm.
Authorities booked 34-year-old Washington G. Naula Ochoa at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio on vehicular homicide and failure-to-yield counts.
