Rashi Washington, 32, of Lexington, Kentucky, died early Saturday morning, August 29, 2026, and the Fayette County Coroner’s Office pronounced Rashi deceased at 4:19 a.m.
Authorities ruled the death a homicide after Rashi suffered a fatal wound during a series of four separate shootings across Lexington between Friday night and early Saturday morning.
Police reported that two people died and two others sustained injuries during the incidents.
Officials identified fatal incident locations on the 300 block of Redding Road and the 1000 block of Cross Keys Road, though they have not confirmed which location involved Rashi.
The Lexington Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding Rashi’s death.
