Simeon Onnette Of Lauderhill Remembered After Early Morning U.S. 82 Van Crash In Alabama On August 29, 2026
Simeon Onnette, 46, of Lauderhill, Florida, passed away early Saturday, August 29, 2026, after a van crash on U.S. 82 in Alabama.
State troopers reported that the crash happened at about 4:23 a.m. while Simeon rode as a passenger in a Toyota Sienna van.
The van left the roadway, entered a ditch, struck a tree, and overturned before responders pronounced Simeon dead at the scene.
Another passenger, 44-year-old Jean-Charles Fausnert of Leominster, Massachusetts, survived and received medical care at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery.
Simeon’s passing leaves family, friends, and community members mourning a sudden loss and remembering a life connected to daily routines, shared moments, and lasting bonds.
